LEED: Low Energy Electron Diffraction
This apparatus is a surface analysis system using LEED (Low Energy Electron Diffraction), a material structure analysis tool which enables observation of the crystal structure of the material surface by detecting the electron diffraction patterns of low energy electrons bombardment.
The LEED AES unit is made by Omicron NanoTechnology GmbH ( http://www.omicron.de/index2.html )
